  • About us

    - 30 seconds about us

  • A wild mind and a disciplined eye

Neon is an independent branding and graphic design consultancy. We work in partnership with clients to deliver engaging and insightful problem-solving ideas, executed beautifully.

Hundreds of agencies use the word creative and each would give you their own definition. For us, it means cultivating a wild mind and a disciplined eye — using intelligence and wit to make people think, smile, pause, feel, understand, or simply be intrigued. It means working hard to understand each client’s business, and to find out what makes them different, or makes their story a unique one.

And then? Working even harder to find fun and unexpected — or sober and serious – ways to communicate these differences and stories as engagingly and effectively as possible, whoever the audience, whatever the media.

It also usually means sweating over getting every detail right, while at the same time sparing no effort to ensure everyone enjoys the ride — life’s too short not to.

  • About us

    - How we work

  • Logic and inspiration
    (and vice versa)

A varied and intellectually stimulating creative diet is very important to us and we hope you’ll find this is clearly reflected in our portfolio.

    And the way we work?

We do our best to make things as simple as possible — but not simpler, as Albert Einstein put it. Of course, some brand issues can be highly complex; but that doesn’t lead us to look on branding as some mystic and convoluted dark art.

We always have an opinion, but we’re also attentive listeners. We don’t specialise in any sector; we love the challenge of immersing ourselves in new ones — and you’d be amazed at the wide variety of specialist knowledge we’ve picked up along the way.

We’re equally comfortable talking brand architecture or the kerning of a well crafted piece of type on a beautiful poster. It just depends on the client, the project and, above all, the objective we are working towards.

Last but far from least, we just really, really enjoy what we do — taking great pleasure and satisfaction in being a truly creative yet strategically-minded business.
