The Nabarro Wonder-wall. (Well, a very attractive wall, anyway.)
OK not technically a big project, but lots of little bundles of joy that has come to represent a large body of on-going work for law firm Nabarro LLP.
When Nabarro, our long-term law firm client, recently moved to prestigious new premises, we saw a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create a totally branded environment. Read More…
The Welcome Wall.
Our starter-for-ten was a stunning typographic treatment, welcoming the firm’s people to their new home with a blizzard of fascinating facts designed by Neon about the building and its fit-out, which was lovingly hand rendered by Nick Garrett, one of the UK’s leading traditional sign writers.
But since then there has been more fun treatments…
Christmas demanded something really special. So, drawing on one of the key elements of the brand’s visual style created by Neon – origami – we set to work to create the most colourful seasonal greeting imaginable. It turned to be a real labour of love. Even with the help of numerous members of the firm, it took us a full two days of cutting, snipping, and sticking.
Or next up the giant ‘Word Search’ designed by Neon, 312 hand rendered letter forms, 45 law terms and 1 box of giant chalks… To help get brains into gear at law firm Nabarro LLP in 2016, the first new wall for their magnificent 125 London Wall offices was a giant ‘Word Search’ for Nabarro’s staff to find and circle with chalk the 45 law terms hidden within. This typographic tour de force of 312 letter forms was again lovingly hand rendered by Nick Garrett. And then? We then let the legal eagle eyes at it with a big box of giant chalks.
Sweet and savoury skyline.
Then came a more colourful – and more appetising – vision of the London skyline, re-imagined in edible form. Designed by Neon to be a deliberately more colourful contrast to Nabarro’s usual more monochromatic visual style, our reimagined skyline from the ‘Gerkin’ to the ‘Cheesegrater’ really hit the sweet spot with Nabarro.
Some problems look immensely complex at first. That’s when Clarity Matters. There is always a way through if you know where to look for it. We brought this notion to life to by setting Nabarro’s staff the challenge of solving six fiendishly complex mazes designed by Neon – and again lovingly hand rendered by our good friend Nick Garrett.
Broadlaw alliance city cameos.
To coincide with a global conference hosted by Nabarro for the Broadlaw Group alliance of five major law firms, we designed 27 hand drawn illustrated cameos for each of the cities where member partners offices are situated around the globe. The illustrations kept to the spirit of Nabarro’s monochromatic brand visual style with a hint of the subtle tones and colours found within the Broadlaw Groups brand identity.
And we look forward to sharing many more with you throughout 2016…
