Lizzy Yarnold takes skeleton gold to make Winter Olympics history for Britain.
Congratulations to Lizzy Yarnold who created history by becoming the first Briton to successfully defend a Winter Olympics title. The Sochi 2014 champion trailed leader Janine Flock of Austria entering the fourth and final run, where she overhauled the deficit to win gold by 0.45 seconds.
Over the past few years Lizzy Yarnold has been Great Britain’s golden girl in the Skeleton at the Olympics, the Skeleton World Cup and Skeleton World Championships – and we recently produced some branding and brochure for a study into Lizzy’s success.
Neon’s long term client UK Sport asked us to help them put together a printed record and digital presentation to be distributed within UK Sport, to dynamically showcase the accelerated development programme devised by British Skeleton in collaboration with the UK Sport/EIS Performance Pathway Team that helped Lizzy reach such dizzy heights of performance.
