04 – When the problem is about lots of things, lots of things can be the solution…
Many aspects of branding, marketing and campaign work is all about distilling down and finding that single aspect or story to focus on – and then having an idea to bring it to life.
However, sometimes when the offering or messages are many, then the solution can reflect the problem – creating something striking and memorable from the many.
We’ve faced this challenge a few times and it has thrown up a good few interesting creative solutions.
We’ve embraced the ‘many’ to amplify the message, made fun with multiples, dived into diversity and sometimes built something new with the ‘many’ that we thought was magical and memorable.
So here’s a few thoughts on when the problem is about many things from…
#thamesandhudson celebrating it’s creative and visual variety…
Promoting an exhibition showcasing over 400 gold items for #thegoldsmithscompany…
A garden builder promoting their skills in shaping nature, with the right set of tools for the job (using cute garden creatures)…
Brand ID can also bring to life diversity of content, for example, the world watches media group #argonon diverse productions….
When the curriculum is global, diverse and broad with #gemseducation why have just a logo? Why not have many windows
into the world of learning…
Sometimes the multiple problem is the springboard to an idea…
Rolling the dice with a graduate recruitment campaign for a law firm Nabarro LLP (now #cmslaw), offering a x6 seat training contract for that first career step – showcasing that the many benefits all add up to one great offer….
Many can also unify.
UK Sports ‘Pathway Performance Team’ represented all sports by using multiple iconic athlete silhouettes – all unified using a single flag cropped to create dynamic form and movement…
And finally, personal branding for an award winning garden designer with a vision for all seasons, using different seasonal colours for each month of the year…
